The American Cancer Society is supported by donations in order to perform the research necessary to irradicate all cancers. Relay For Life events are community gatherings to honor and support all cancer survivors, their caregivers and their families. And, to raise money for all the programs ACS provides. The survivors enjoy the gifts donated on their behalf, the raffles, the goodie bags and food. The communities provide that extra support and care needed for all survivors to know they are not alone in this battle. All donations over the years have made the survivors at this event feel special and in return the participants at these events support the businesses and individuals who donated to this great day!
