The American Cancer Society is preparing for the annual Relay for Life (RFL) of North County to be held on July 29, 2023.

Since 2006, your local North County community members have been standing up to cancer through the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life program. RFL includes a continuous team walk/run event, entertainment, local bands, activities for kids, and much more. There are several impactful ceremonies, including our opening celebration where we honor the cancer survivors in attendance. Our evening luminaria ceremony brings emotion to the center of what we do - as we remember those we’ve lost to cancer - while honoring and supporting our beloved cancer survivors and caregivers.

Are you able to support your community – and your employees – by becoming a sponsor or a participant in your local RFL?  Here are some ways you can do just that – and of course, promotional benefits, recognition, and media exposure exist at every level of corporate engagement. 

BECOME A SPONSOR. Local, regional, and national sponsorships are tailored to your business objectives with maximum flexibility.  You can sponsor RFL directly, or also through our partnership with the Encinitas Rotary Club through their annual Wine & Food Festival, which always happens the first Saturday in June.

PARTICIPATE AS A COMPANY TEAM. Engaging your employees in saving lives from cancer is a great way to help boost employee morale and show civic responsibility on the local, regional, or national level.

PROMOTE VOLUNTEERISM. Your employees and leaders will find ample opportunity to use their professional skills and networks, as RFL volunteers.

PROVIDE IN-KIND SERVICES OR DONATIONS. In-kind donations such as food, water, sound equipment, and tents are valuable assets that help ensure a successful RFL event.

PROVIDE ITEMS FOR AUCTION: Donations of tangible goods or services are auctioned off during the event as well, or through our partnership with Encinitas Rotary at the Wine and Food Festival.
