The Wissahickon Valley Public Library is hosting a Renovation Celebration fundraiser gala. We will be having a silent auction, and sampling of food and drinks. The purpose of this library fundraiser is to improve library services by renovating the Ambler Branch to allow everyone equal access to its resources.  A redesign of its spaces and a new addition, including an accessible entranceway and bathrooms will eliminate barriers to free lifelong learning for all residents.  The renovation will also provide the space necessary to expand and enhance educational opportunities.  The addition of a community room and a conference room will allow the library to increase the number of educational programs as well as provide a place for community groups to meet.
