Description
Black Leaves Dance Company, The Center for Black Equity, & Washington Health Institute Presents:
REQUIEM OF A DREAM
“REFLECTION, CELEBRATION, AND REJUVENATION”
A WORLD AIDS DAY EVENT
Journey with us through the intimate stories of those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS as we tell their stories of struggle, hope, and perseverance; and how their faith sustained them. There will also be a candlelight vigil where we will remember those we have lost to the epidemic. In addition, there will be a health expo and networking reception, allowing attendees to get tested and grab info on several resources.
A night of fellowship, music, dancing, fashion, and spoken word, a night sure to be a blessing to all who attend.
