Description

Dear Sir/Madam, 

Start Sideliners Athletic Boosters will be holding our 8th annual Reverse Raffle on March 23, 2024.  Through the combined efforts of the boosters, coaches, parents and community members, every year the revenue generated increases.  Last year we were able to surpass $21,000 for our teams and athletes.

For the last 8 years the booster club has been able to deposit funds into the scholarship account so it can become self-sustaining, while also providing $1000 scholarships for senior athletes.  We have worked closely with the coaching staff to upgrade the weight room at the school.  Funds have been utilited to update and replace concession equipment. Finally, we are moving from the planning stages tot he development stages with the school district for the revitalization of Bowman Park which was obtained from the City of Toledo to be a part of Start's campus.

Not only will Bowman Park give Start athletics a "home" for all of our teams in one place, but it will improve the availablity of safe and properly maintained complex for our west Toledo communty.  Our teams will have the facitlities to hold clinics and open gyms for the junior athletes from our feeders schools which will allow our high school atheletes to lead by example promoting leadership, teamwork, health and fitness, community service, confidence, self respect, goal setting and time management.  

Supporting the silent auction portion of our Reverse Raffle by donating gift certificates, merchandise or services will reward you with some excellent community exposure and advertising.  Your company name and address with be announced as one of our event sponsors multiple times throughout the evening as well as your company logo appearing in our itinerary pamphlet given to the attendees.
