Description

Friends of Troop 72 is proud to host our second annual reverse raffle and auction!    This year we are expanding the event--in the afternoon the auction will be open so people can come in and bid even if they aren't planning to attend the reverse raffle.   This will allow us to reach a larger audience, have more publicity, and extend the reach.

From 2-5 pm the auction will be open.  People can come in and purchase their tickets for for the basket auction, bid on the silent auction items.   At 5:30pm the doors open for the reverse raffle.    Coctail hour from 5:30-6:30pm, auction tickets, side boards for sale.   We will serve dinner and the drawings will begin after dinner.

Throughout the evening we will be making announcements about the exciting things up for auction to encourage guests to get their auction bids in, buy tickets for the basket raffles, and advertise for our donors.  We are excited that we had a DJ volunteer his time this year so he will making announcements throughout the evening.    Each donor will also be recognized on the raffle tracking sheet that is given to all attendees, through signs at the auction table, and on social media.

The raffle is attended by 150 people and with the expansion of the raffle we are expecting close to 300 people to come through the event!

FUNDS Raised are used to provide scholarships for summer camp for low income families and to help low income families to be able to afford scouting adventures.  Kids learn so much through scouting programs--they make new friends, they have an opportunity to try new adventures and things that may be a little outside their comfort zone, they get opportunities to volunteer in the community and give back; and they have an opportunity to gain valuable leadership skills.

Each attendee will also receive a gift bag of goodies.  If donating for gift bags we would need 125 sample sized items/fliers...   Donors may select how they would like to donate!

Thank you!
