The 6th Annual Revive Refresh Symposium, hosted by Dementia Care Warriors, is a full-day event designed to support and uplift family caregivers of loved ones living with dementia. Created by caregiver advocate Veronica Shanklin, this signature event blends expert-led workshops, wellness resources, free health screenings, self-care activities, and a catered brunch to deliver a day of education, empowerment, and celebration. Attendees enjoy live music from a DJ, relaxing massages, and opportunities to connect with local providers and fellow caregivers.

Revive Refresh not only provides an immediate day of renewal—it also serves as a vital entry point into Dementia Care Warriors' year-round caregiver support ecosystem. Through the symposium, caregivers are introduced to our ongoing programs, including monthly caregiver support groups, virtual and in-person community connections through Care Warrior Connect, educational workshops, respite scholarship opportunities, and wellness initiatives. The event helps caregivers build relationships, access critical resources, and stay engaged long after the symposium, creating a continuum of care that supports their emotional, physical, and mental well-being throughout their caregiving journey.
