Humans for Good is a nonprofit organization in Virginia focused on a lifestyle of doing Good, emphasizing issues related to women and children. We ignite change by shining light on unmet needs in our locality and educating on the importance of elevating the voices of marginalized communities. Many who come to Humans for Good for aid have incredibly ill children, leading us to support local children's hospitals in many of our most significant endeavors. We step up to the plate for domestic violence survivors, homeless families, young people whose families cannot afford food, and much more. We implore our youth to be active participants in helping with fundraising projects to aid those less fortunate. We are more than an organization that gives back- we are humans for the Good of every person.

The Richmond Mom Prom is an event created in 2011 that has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for over ten local charities. For our 2025 event, we are returning to supporting small and local and will be giving 100% of the proceeds to Connor's Heroes. Connor's Heroes' mission includes building a community of heroes who provide hope, guidance, and support to children with cancer and their families. They immediately come to the aid of families with children after receiving a cancer diagnosis, spend time at CHoR providing various programs for kids while undergoing treatment, and provide support for the child, their siblings, and parents as they navigate the most challenging time in their lives.

We are delighted to host the women of Richmond on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at The Richmond Marriott Downtown for a night of fun and fundraising! 

We offer opportunities to aid our mission through sponsorships and accept donations for our silent auction. Humans for Good is a registered nonprofit; all financial contributions are tax-deductible, and every business or individual donating over $250 will automatically receive a tax receipt. (Lower amounts are per request.) We have various tiers with perks, such as live interviews on our page, banner spots, tickets, and much more. Humans for Good Tax-Id number is 84-3936710. If your business is equipped to donate an auction item, those will be placed with like-items and sold to the highest bidder at the event; this is an incredible fundraising tool to assist us in reaching our goal. Whether you sponsor or donate to the auction, we are happy to place advertising material in swag bags if promoting your business is of interest. (Note: they don't go to everyone in attendance. Bags are given to high-dollar sponsors and VIP tables, and the first ladies to arrive will be capped at 250.) Keep in mind that this is optional and a "thank you" from us; we do not want it to feel burdensome.
