Ridgefield A Better Chance Spotlight Gala
Gala/Party for A Better Chance in Ridgefield IncMar 01, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM
Our mission is to provide academically talented and highly motivated young women of color the opportunity to
live in Ridgefield, CT and to study at Ridgefield High School. We provide educational, social, and cultural enrichment as we strive to prepare our Scholars to assume positions of responsibility and leadership in American society.
These young women, grades 9-12, reside in the Ridgefield A Better Chance (RABC) house under the care of the Resident Director and Assistant Director, with the guidance of RABC Board of Directors, and with support from their host families, academic advisors, and countless other volunteers. Since 1987, sixty-four RABC Scholars have graduated from Ridgefield High School and have gone on to major universities and colleges.
We are currently seeking donations for our annual Spotlight Gala which raises funds to support our program in the following areas:
• Academic Support
• Extracurricular Activities
• College Counseling
• Housing, Food, Transportation & Staf
