Description

The Angelica Cantanti Youth Choirs is a non-profit choral organization for youth ages 5-18 that will be celebrating its 43rd season!  Our singers performed America The Beautiful at the 2018 Super Bowl LII at US Bank Stadium and we were recently named “Best Community Choir in MN” by WCCO-TV.  Our program has five performance choirs, an adult/alumni choir, music classes for K-3, and a Glee group for singers with special needs.

Approximately 20% of our 350 singers receive financial assistance to subsidize their annual tuition and fees through our scholarship program. The Rita Docter Scholarship was established in 2011 to honor Mrs. Docter’s 25 years of dedicated leadership as a choral director, artistic director and music educator with Angelica Cantanti.

To support this scholarship fund, our 501(c)3 non-profit organization is seeking donations for our upcoming Silent Auction on February 25, 2024 at the Bloomington Center for the Arts.  All proceeds from your donated item(s) will go directly to supporting Angelica Cantanti Youth Choirs scholarship program.  In addition, your business name will be listed in our concert program & website as a supporter of our organization.
