Description

Harpeth Conservancy’s mission to protect clean water and rivers is more vital than ever with a global pandemic, economic uncertainty, and several natural disasters—including another major flood. In the past year we expanded our efforts to make sure our rivers in Tennessee are healthy for everyone—not a simple task with pollution, flooding, threatening developments and permits, and tremendous regional, unplanned growth.

We complete our mission through Water Quality Monitoring, Clean Water Protection, Rural Land Protection and Growth Planning, Outreach and Education and by Building Community Leadership. However, we cannot do it alone. We need your support.

For 18 years, our annual River Swing event celebrated our work while raising nearly one third of the needed funds for our mission. Last year’s 17th Re-imagined River Swing was conducted with extensive COVID precautions for a smaller group and was recognized as Best Outdoor Dinner (in addition to 3 other awards!) from NFocus Magazine and Best Fundraiser from Brentwood Lifestyles. This year we will return to the spacious River Circle Farm on September 18, 2021 with fabulous food, entertainment, and auction with any needed COVID precautions in place.

We know many businesses and individuals are still recovering from 2020, but support is needed to ensure clean water. We hope you will consider donating to our Silent Auction this year. Last year’s smaller online auction reached 121 bidders from 9 states to raise over $27,000! Your donation will fund programs like our Lessons on the River, Conservation Conversations, Water Quality Monitoring Program, Clean Water Protection efforts and much more!

We generally get GREAT coverage from local media outlets including n.Focus, Your Williamson, Williamson Source, Williamson Herald, The News, and more! This is a great opportunity to get the attention your business needs during this time. Your business will also be listed on our website for a full year, on social media, online auction platform and printed event material.
