An Open Letter to Our Supporters

Due to COVID-19 we had to abruptly postpone our annual fundraising event. As our community has begun to reopen, we are now excited to announce our new date and time. We will be hosting our event virtually, celebrating early childhood education. As you know, our annual celebration showcases the Coalition’s services and programs that work to provide every child equal access to high quality early learning opportunities. With an exciting theme, impactful program, uplifting musical performances, and silent action, this is a fun evening you won’t want to miss.

We invite you to join us on Saturday, June 27, 2020 from 7 PM to 8 PM.

Every child under the age of five in Orange County deserves equal access to quality early education and the opportunity to thrive. For many children and childcare providers, that comes at a heavy cost. Due to the recent pandemic, early learning providers have been struggling to keep their doors open and provide healthy, safe quality care for children in our community.

Due to the insurmountable challenges our 600+ early learning providers face, we have begun to focus our efforts towards ensuring that Orange County providers obtain the resources needed in this new normal to safely care for the children of working parents, some of whom are essential workers and first responders working to keep us safe. To not address these challenges causes the 32,000 children we serve to fall further behind.

With your help we can continue to provide thousands of young children under the age of five a safe and healthy learning environment and access to equal educational opportunities. Because the first 2,000 days matter the most.

Funding raised from this event will not only benefit children and their families, but also early learning providers as they reopen, restore their services, rebuild their programs and obtain the essential supports they need to provide safe and healthy quality care for children living in Orange County. Every $1 raised has the potential for match, doubling the impact of your gift to Orange County children.
