Dear Community Partner,

We are thrilled to bring back our annual auction to the Bowman Middle School community for the 2022-2023 school year!

Our Rock’n’Raider Fundraiser Auction will take place during the fall semester Friday, November 11, 2022, to Wednesday, November 16, 2022. The auction will be online as well as in-person on the evening of November 17, 2022.

Contributions from our community partners are critical to the success of our event, no matter the size of the gift. Every donation is needed and appreciated, and will, perhaps give you an opportunity to reach a population you haven’t yet reached. All donations are tax deductible since Bowman Middle School PTA is considered a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit charity by the IRS. EIN 75-2261936.

Every donor will receive recognition through our regular communication channels, including posters, flyers, our newsletter, website and social media.

Bowman Middle School serves approximately 942 students in 6th through 8th grade in Plano ISD from four neighborhood elementary schools in east Plano. Around 67.7% of our students are economically disadvantaged. Bowman Middle PTA is 100% volunteer run by parents and guardians of our students. We have minimal administrative costs meaning nearly all of your donation goes directly to programming, education and advocacy that helps us achieve our mission.

Our mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. We are intentional in our approach to community building and hope to create a stronger sense of belonging on campus in the 2022-23 school year by bringing in speakers and new programs for our students to address topics like mental health, student wellness and family engagement.

Your contribution to our fall Rock’n’Raider Fundraiser will allow us to provide this programming in the spring semester. Our families are hoping to bid on items like business and/or restaurant gift cards, entertainment experiences, store product or services. We are truly grateful for your partnership.
