No one should go hungry in Contra Costa County. With your help, Loaves and Fishes of Contra Costa can continue fighting food insecurity. Loaves and Fishes provides a free daily hot, nutritious meal to homeless, unemployed, seniors, veterans and families – anyone in need of food.  Demand on Loaves and Fishes’ meal service has tripled since before the pandemic.

On March 23, 2024, Loaves and Fishes will be hosting its annual fundraising event, ROCK OUT HUNGER, at Blackhawk Country Club.  ROCK OUT HUNGER is a fun gala event featuring dinner, a live and silent auction, music and dancing to raise funds to feed those in need.  Loaves and Fishes is looking forward to gathering and seeing its supporters in-person to connect, recognize their support, reflect on our successes, and share details on our new expansion plan for a mobile unit to take food to where people in need are. Loaves and Fishes’ goal is to raise more than $120,000 this year to continue fulfilling its mission to “Nourish Lives” here in Contra Costa County.
