The Walk-a-thon is an annual and beloved Tam Valley tradition. The funds raised through Walk-a-thon make up 45% of the annual PTA budget and each year over 80% of our school community joins the day’s festivities; making Walk-a-thon not only a major fundraiser but also a tremendous community-building event. Our 350 students have fun walking laps around the school while their families and the Tam Valley Staff cheer them on, eat great food, dance, and shop at the Auction. Last year, each participating student walked an average of 13 laps (or 4.2 miles) at the event
