Down Syndrome Association of Central New Jersey (DSACNJ) is a non-profit organization, dedicated to

providing support, education, opportunity and enrichment to persons with Down syndrome and their

families. We are a point of contact for information and support for families who have received the

diagnosis either during pregnancy or after the birth of their child. In addition, we educate our community at

large about Down syndrome with the hopes of breaking down barriers, eliminating misconceptions, and

promoting inclusion for those with Down syndrome. Our organization also has worked to improve

communication in the medical community. We advocate for parents to receive their child’s diagnosis in

a sensitive manner, without bias, and accompanied by accurate information on what it means to have

Down syndrome and the amazing capabilities of people with Down syndrome. 2024 will be particularly

exciting for our organization as we also will celebrate “Club DREAMS” Down syndrome enrichment

center's growth despite the challenges of our time!! This is proudly our organization’s greatest achievement.  March 21st is World Down Syndrome Day. All over the world local and national organizations are celebrating what makes our children special. It is our goal to support this annual campaign and raise awareness for Down syndrome in the local community with our Rock Your Socks Off Celebration. The event will feature a DJ, dancing, food and a silent auction. Most importantly, the event provides our members the opportunity to celebrate their achievements and continue to change the way people view Down syndrome through their amazing self-confidence (and of course, their great dance moves)! We invite you to join and support us in celebrating World Down Syndrome Day.

We will be hosting our annual “Rock Your Socks Off Fundraiser and Celebration” on  March 16, 2024 at Cooper’s Riverview in Trenton, NJ.  This event, along with all of our functions throughout the year such as social events for our children and adults, educational seminars, and community outreach efforts, is made possible only through the generous contribution of our sponsors. You can be a true hero in the lives of children and adults with Down syndrome as a “Rock Your Socks Off” event sponsor. In doing so, you will become a champion of an international event (World Down Syndrome Day) while making a huge difference locally.
