Description

March 21st is World Down Syndrome Day.  All over the World, local and national organizations are celebrating what makes our children special.   It is our goal to support the campaign and raise awareness for Down Syndrome in the local community with our Rock Your Socks Off Dance and Silent auction to raise money to benefit Down Syndrome Association of Central NJ.   The event will feature a DJ, dancing, food and a silent auction.   Most improtantly, the dance provides our members the opportunity to celebrate their achievements and continue to change the way people view Down Syndrome through their amazing self confidence (and of course, their great dance moves)!  This event, along with all of our functions throughout the year such as social events for our children and adults, educational seminars, and community outreach efforts, is made possible only through the generous contribution of our sponsors.

The Down Syndrome Association of Central NJ is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support, education, opportunity and enrichment to persons with Down syndrome and their families.   We are a point of contact for information and support for families who have received the diagnosis either during their pregnancy or just after birth of their child.  In addition we educate the community at large and the medical community about Down syndrome with the hopes of breaking down barriers, eliminating misconceptions, and promoting inclusion for those wiht Down syndrome.  This event is our main fundraiser of the year to allow us to continue our meaningful services.

We invite you to support individuals wiht Down syndrome and the Down Syndrome ASsociation of Central NJ by contributing items to our silent auction or through monetary donations.
