Rockin' Out Hunger is fundraiser featuring live music from local bands The Remainders & the Executives, a silent auction, raffle, and dessert auction.  Last year, this event raised over $22,000 to feed the hungry. Funds raised during this event benefit in the against fight hunger in the La Crosse area through The Food Recovery Program and The Kane Street Community Garden.

The Food Recovery Programs collected anddistributed over 1.3 million pounds last year to over 90 hunger programs in La Crosse, Monroe, Vernon, Trempealeau, and Winona Counties. These programs include pantries, meal sites, and youth programs.

The Kane Street Community Garden grows over 30,000 pounds of organic produce.  Produce grown in the garden is distributed free of charge. The purpose of the garden is to help ensure the community has access to free produce, to encourage increased nutrition especially in children, and to educate through workshops and hands on learning.
