The Rose City Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF) is hosting our 35th annual fundraising banquet to be held at the Holiday Inn in Wilsonville, Oregon on March 12, 2022.

 For many years, individuals and businesses like yours have supported us through generous donations of merchandise or gift certificates or by underwriting items for our event. We ask that you please consider making a donation or even Sponsoring our 2022 event to help us continue to ensure a future with wildlife in wild places! All of our donors receive a tax-deductible receipt for the Fair Market Value of their donation, and they are highlighted in our banquet program.

 RMEF is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is dedicated to ensuring a healthy and sustainable future for wild elk and other wildlife, their natural habitats, and America’s rich and vital hunting heritage. The Foundation serves its members as well as America’s conservation heritage and the common good through science-based, sportsman-focused permanent land protection, habitat enhancement, advocacy, education, and other related programs at the local, state, and national levels.

 Since its inception in 1984, RMEF has funded over 13,000 projects nationally, protecting or enhancing more than 8.2 million acres of wildlife habitat across North America and 1.3 million public access acres. In Oregon alone, we have completed 1000 conservation and hunting heritage outreach projects with a combined value of more than $72.1 million. These projects have protected or enhanced 850,057 acres of wildlife habitat and open spaces and have opened or improved public access to 135,046 acres.

 Currently RMEF, Hancock Natural Resources Group and ODFW are actively working together on the Minam River acquisition, a project to conserve 15,573 acres of wildlife habitat in northeast Oregon! When completed, The Minam River Wildlife Area combined with the Eagle Cap Wilderness will create a block of public land larger than Yellowstone National Park! It is very exciting and just one example of the amazing work RMEF and our partners continue to perform thanks to your generous support!

 Our banquet is a fun-filled event enjoyed by individuals, families, and businesses. We have a great dinner, live and silent auctions, and many fun games and raffles where attendees can win some incredible prizes. We expect a crowd between 200 and 250 sportsmen, youth, and outdoor enthusiasts.
