Description

Rogers International School (RIS) is holding its 11th Annual Fall Fundraiser and Silent Auction on November 3rd in Stamford, CT.  This event is one of the school’s main fundraisers for the year and is attended by approximately 200 parents, teachers and staff. We have set a fundraising goal of $20,000. All proceeds are reinvested into the school, which allows us to continue to improve the educational programs and extracurricular activities available to our students, regardless of their ability to pay.

The mission of RIS is to create a diverse school community of lifelong learners through an engaging and challenging program that fosters a culture of caring, collaboration, action learning, creativity and responsibility for the environment.

As a public inter-district International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, Rogers International School educates students from all over Stamford and neighboring Connecticut towns. Our culturally and socio-economically diverse student body includes over 700 students from grades K-8, of which 40% qualify for the Free or Reduced Lunch Program. Despite this, state testing results show Rogers’ students meet or exceed district-wide performance averages in reading, writing, and math.
