This spring, Roosevelt Elementary will have its sixth annual jog-a-thon, a PTA-organized fundraiser. We are thrilled to once again participate in this wonderful fundraising and community-building event. With so many cuts to education funding, money from Roosevelt’s PTA pays for what our state and federal budget does not: It pays for Arts4All, Education Outside (our garden-based science education program), stipends for teachers to buy supplies, family fun nights, technology (chromebooks, cameras, smartboards), educational field trips, enrichment programs, and much more.
