This spring, Roosevelt Elementary will have its fifth annual jog-a-thon, a PTA-organized fundraiser.  We are thrilled to once again participate in this wonderful fundraising and community-building event. With so many cuts to education funding, money from Roosevelt’s PTA pays for what our state and federal budget does not: It pays for Arts4All, Education Outside (our garden-based science education program), stipends for teachers to buy supplies, family fun nights, technology (chromebooks, cameras, smartboards), educational field trips, enrichment programs, and much more.  For more information about our event and an inspiring video of our kids jogging, go here: http://roosevelt-pta.com/jog-a-thon
