Row to Remember will be held on Friday, June 20th at 6:30 pm at Row House - Ashburn.  Thanks to the generosity of Row House - Ashburn, 100% of your donation will go directly to the Alzheimer's Association! 

My mom is the strongest woman I know. She raised my sister and I on her own with love and laughter. She remembered every little thing that made us feel seen.

Now, she doesn’t always remember my name.

Dementia has slowly taken pieces of her—memories, words, moments. But even in the fog, she smiles when I hold her hand. She still hums the tune to her favorite songs. And she is still my mom—brave, beautiful, and loved beyond measure.

I’m rowing in her honor because I want to remember everything she gave us. And I want a future where families don’t have to face this disease alone.
