Description

We have partnered with our Arts Council, Downtown Revitalization committee, chamber of commerce and Locally Owned hospital for this event.

During our downtown arts festival and in addition to a 5k and 1 mile run, will will host a Duck Derby & Kids Duck Dash!

We will race 5,000 rubber ducks on a man-made "River" right in the middle of our downtown streets!

Individuals can "adopt" a rubber duck for $5. We will hold the ducks in a pool and release them down the "river". The first ducks to cross the finish line have the opportunity to win awesome prizes.

The Duck Dash is open to children between the ages of 5 - 10. The event will consist of the child using a Hand Pitcher Pump to force water down a slide and a smaller duck to the finish line. A duck pluck will be available to kids under the age of 5.

All proceeds will benefit 20 non-profits in our community that work every day to improves the health, education, and the financial stability of each person in our community.
