Description

The Run for the River is an annual fundraiser for the Musconetcong Watershed Association (MWA). MWA is an independent, non-profit organization formed by residents of the Musconetcong River Valley in 1991. Our mission is to protect and improve the Musconetcong River and its watershed resources through education programs to local schools, landowners and municipal officials. In addition, MWA conducts river clean-ups and stream bank restoration projects.

After the Run, MWA hosts a free raffle for all participants. We are looking for donations of gift certificates or small prizes to raffle off to our runners and walkers.

Funds generated by the MWA Run for the River will be used to support the MWA Education Program, River Watcher Program, hikes/paddles, River Talks, and more.
