On Friday November 8th, all students at Marshall Road will run around our track to raise money to support their school. Funds raised will go toward student programs, composting programs, grants for teachers, family events, and support for members of our community in need. In the past, proceeds have gone toward supporting our outdoor classroom, gardening class, author visit, etc.

Marshall Road Elementary school, is one most diverse community in Fairfax, serving over 700 students, with different backgrounds and cultures, around 35% of out students are multilingual and 33% are part of the free/reduced lunch program. This makes our roadrunners community strong, diverse and inclusive.

To provide an incentive in this fundraising endeavor, a raffle is done for the students and their teachers. Students receive one raffle ticket for every $250 they raise during this run. We are asking for your assistance in acquiring prizes to go towards this raffle. Any gift certificate or prize valued at $15 or more would be greatly appreciated in providing a further incentive for our students. Of course, all donations are tax deductible.
