Dear Friends,

As you know I am a volunteer for SHARE which is an Agriculture Foundation that is a Canadian non-profit organization with the purpose of providing funding and guidance to community-based agricultural projects in developing countries throughout many parts of the world.  SHARE enables impoverished rural communities to improve their quality of life by supporting projects that contribute to economic, social and environmental development and sustainability.  SHARE, started by Canadian farmers over 45 years ago and still managed by volunteers, continues to bring hope and opportunity, providing a"hands-up".  We provide opportunities and resources to help people, help themselves.  Using the "Pass-on" principle, those helped assist others, thus ensuring healthy communities where people can improve their life through their own efforts.  Many of our projects provide agricultural training for small-scale farmers and inputs such as tools, irrigation equipment, seeds and livestock for small agricultural enterprises.

After two years of Covid-19 restrictions we return to having our annual fundraising Dinner Dance and Auction which will take place on November 5th, 2022 at the Embassy Grand Covention Centre in Brampton.  All guests will enjoy a four-course meal with D-J entertainment and have the opportunity to bid on a variety of items at our Live and Silent Auctions.  With approximately 300 attendees annually, this event is a proven success!  In 2019, through the help of our many donors like yourself we were able to raise approximately $30,000.00.

At this time, we are asking for your support in the form of gift certificates, passes for your attraction or anything you feel to be appropriate for our Auctions.  All donors will be recognized at this gala and all proceeds will go to help people in extreme need.  This is an organization where less than three percent goes to administrative work.  Everything goes to helping thoose who have the most need.
