My name is Kandice Henry and I am writing on behalf of the Shining L.I.G.H.T.E Youth Charity, a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting and empowering underserved youth in our community. We are reaching out with great excitement to request your support for our upcoming End-of-Year Program Celebration by providing free or discounted tickets for 50 youth and 10 adult chaperones to attend a Lion King Show.

Our mission is to broaden the horizons of the youth we serve—many of whom come from under-resourced communities and have limited access to enriching experiences beyond their immediate environment. Attending a renowned theatrical performance such as the Lion King would be a unique and unforgettable opportunity for them. The opportunity to see such an iconic play combined with the theatrical elements offers not only entertainment but cultural exposure and education in a format that is both fun and inspiring.

This experience would mark the first time most of our participants have attended a theatrical performance of this magnitude.
