Description

Specifically, we are seeking in-kind donations to be auctioned at the Friends of Pulaski winter fundraiser, Saber Soirée, A New Party with a New Purpose.

On Saturday, February 24th, 2024, close to 300 parents, teachers, staff and friends of Pulaski International School of Chicago will gather to celebrate our school community and the incredible impact it has on our children.  In addition to the celebration, the party revelers will be bidding on our silent auction in the iconic setting at City Hall Events.

The efforts of this event allow Friends of Pulaski to continue to bridge the monetary gap between government funding, and the resources that are needed for a quality education. Since its inception, Friends of Pulaski has supported, not only operational needs and capital projects, but has funded enrichment programs and the expense of ever-changing technology upgrades throughout our school.

This year we are Marching to a Million after hosting this event since 2015! Be a part of this major milestone for Pulaski!

WHAT IS THIS EVENT?
Saber Soirée (formerly known as Party with a Purpose) is Friends of Pulaski’s largest fundraiser (and party) of the year! Guests will enjoy a DJ, Photo Booth, 4-hour open bar (ONE extra hour this year!), passed hors d'oeuvres, petite sweets and late-night snacks at City Hall Events in Chicago's popular West Loop neighborhood. This is an opportunity for current and prospective Pulaski parents to meet and mingle. Anyone who is invested in Pulaski and the Bucktown community is invited.

WHERE DOES THE MONEY RAISED AT THE EVENT GO?
Event proceeds will allow Friends of Pulaski to continue to:
Bridge the monetary gap between government funding and the resources needed for a quality education
Support the school’s operational needs and capital improvement projects
Fund curriculum enhancements and enrichment activities
Create equity-based events for our school community
In 2023, this event brought in over $210,000! Thank you to our generous donors!

WHAT IS “FRIENDS OF PULASKI” (FOP)?
Friends of Pulaski is an independent, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that provides volunteer and fundraising support. All donations and sponsorships are tax-deductible.
