For nearly 100 years, Sacred Heart Catholic School has held its annual Fourth of July Picnic on the school’s campus to raise money for the school. This picnic is the largest fundraiser for the school each year. People throughout the area attend the picnic which starts with a 5K run at 8:00 a.m., an ongoing online silent auction, our first annual fun night of Bingo, and live music. Hundreds of people attend the picnic each year, which also includes a baseball tournament on July 2, a variety of food concessions, games for all ages, kickball games, inflatables, a beauty pageant, a bicycle parade, and a homemade chicken dinner.
