Temple Judea’s first Annual Gala since 2019, themed “Sacred Sparks,” will take
place on Sunday, May 7, 2023. We will be celebrating four honorees: Ivan and
Nikki Axelrod, Cantor Gerald Miller and Bonnie Friedman, Lisa Whitman, and
David and Judy Rutt.
Each honoree in their own way, these remarkable and compassionate leaders,
have dedicated their lives to being a spark for positive change in our community:
a sacred spark. Through their tireless efforts, they have helped create a strong
Jewish community at Temple Judea, and in turn, have made a significant impact
on the San Fernando Valley community as a whole.
On behalf of Temple Judea, we invite you to donate an item to our silent
auction. We need and appreciate your support, whether in the form of a
tax-deductible contribution, unique or desirable items, services, or gift certificates.
We are expecting over 300 guests to attend and we will acknowledge each gift in
our program and our synagogue promotions, both online and in print.
