Description

For the ninth year in a row, the DHS Booster Club is preparing to host a Safe & Sober Grad Night. This free, all-night event is offered exclusively to Dayton High School seniors on the night of their commencement ceremony. Some of the fun activities that graduates enjoyed last year were video games, inflatable hamster bowling, Rock wall climbing, a Nailed it Cake Competition, games for raffle tickets, henna tattoos, unlimited food, a presentation by a magician, pictures by a photographer, and lots of prizes, gift cards, and electronics.

The graduates all had a great time that evening and this year's seniors are looking forward to their turn. It is our hope that you will partner with us to make it happen for them again this year. All of these terrific activities are not cheap and the final costs for last year came to around $13,000.

As a business owner or a private citizen living in our wonderful community, you play a very important role in the lives of our youth.  We would like to ask for your help in keeping this event going by making a donation of money, prizes, time, services, or anything else you are able to give. Donation items you may wish to consider are gift cards, electronics, dinner and show tickets, gift certificates for food or services offered by your specific business, monetary assistance, and/or staff that would be willing to volunteer the night of the event for setup, take down, and general help throughout the night.

We plan to hold this event at a venue right here in Dayton and make it fun and exciting for the graduates with plenty of entertainment, exciting activities, and fantastic prizes. However, we need your help if we are going to continue to succeed at offering a Safe & Sober Grad Night party for the Graduating Class of 2023 and beyond.

The Dayton High School Booster Club is a community-based, volunteer-only, non-profit organization focused on supporting the students of Dayton High School. We are reaching out to our local community and businesses for support. The DHS Booster Club operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization allowing you to deduct your donation amount on your tax return. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and vital to the organization.  This event is not a school-sponsored function but has the full support of the DHS faculty and staff. Please help us give these deserving students a Safe & Sober Grad Night they will always remember.

We thank you for taking the time to consider this request.

Sincerely,

The DHS Booster Club Safe and Sober Grad Night Committee
