Saint John Paul the Great is the only high school in the United States that offers a four year Bioethics program. It is a college preparatory, coeducational Catholic School in Dumfries, Virginia, led by the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia. Programs range from multiple Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment courses to multiple levels of Special Education including a program for those with Intellectual Disabilities such as Down's Syndrome. Students are taught the profound dignity of every individual and to treasure our individual gifts and talents. This annual Gala & Auction raises much needed funds for all our of programs and to support financial aid so that children from all socioeconomic backgrounds can benefit from a JP education.
