The Salisbury Fall Festival is back after a two year hiatus (due to Covid). The Fall Festival takes place in downtown Salisbury, CT. Local community members, as well as visitors from afar come to this area to enjoy fall foliage and a New England autumn. There are various vendors, community organizations, and activities for children. The SOAR booth is set up on the Scoville Memorial Library. SOAR charges a small admission fee to participate in various crafts and activities. The crafts and activities in the past have been pumpkin painting, face painting, henna, puppet making, and more. The money raised through this event is used to help offset the cost of the after school enrichment programs SOAR provides to the students at Salisbury Central School. Because the Fall Fest has been cancelled in the past due to Covid, SOAR has missed out on this opportunity to raise funds for the programs. This year, SOAR is hoping to add a raffle to draw more people to the booth and help increase our fundraising potential.
