The 1st Annual Salsa Fiesta to benefit SPORTS for Exceptional Athletes (S4EA) will take place on Sat. Sept 24, 2016 at the Plaza at the Border in San Ysidro, Calif.  Salsa makers will enter they favorite salsa recipe in one of two categories; traditional and non-traditional salsa, and the general public is invited to come and sample the offerings and vote for their favorite.  Admission is $5 to come and sample, $20 to enter.  Entertainment will include a mariachi band, zumba dancers and more.  Proceeds benefit SPORTS for Exceptional Athletes, an inclusive community based sports program serving athletes with developmental disabilities ages 5 through adult in San Diego County.  The purpose of S4EA is to create enhanced opportunities for people with and without disabilities to interact and form lasting bonds of friendship through shared sports and recreational activities in their community.
