Description

Veterans Heritage Project (VHP) is a non-profit organization that Connect Students with Veterans™ in order to honor veterans, preserve America’s heritage, and develop future leaders. Our award-winning after-school program develops students’ leadership, confidence, character, and 21st century skills, while honoring the service of veterans and preserving their legacies.

Based in Phoenix, Arizona, VHP is offered in 30 middle schools, high schools, and colleges in Arizona, Florida, and Tennessee, impacting 13,000 students, while interviewing 300 veterans annually. Their stories are preserved in the Library of Congress and through the student publication, Since You Asked. Program
elements also include community book receptions, veteran presentations, civic engagement, and college scholarships.

The fifth annual Saluting Stories of Service will be held on March 2, 2024 at Chateau Luxe Event Venue. Our fundraising gala will welcome 400 guests who will enjoy mystery boxes, a live auction, dinner, and inspiring stories of service. The event honors an outstanding veteran with our Storyteller Award and recognizes an outstanding alumni student for applying the lessons learned from their veterans, and demonstrating character in their daily lives.

As a non-profit organization (tax ID 26-4572636), we cannot achieve our mission and successfully execute this event without the help of our community.

We kindly ask for your support by way of any of the following contribution:
● In-kind donation of merchandise or service
● Creation of any type of gift package (to be valued at $100+)
● Financial contribution to help offset event costs

Your in-kind donation will fill a mystery box and help raise funds for our award-winning after school character education program. Your support enriches education, builds character and leadership skills in students, and engages our community in opportunities to show appreciation for veterans and their selfless service.

To express our appreciation, we will be pleased to recognize your participation in gala signage.

Donations may be submitted to any member of our planning committee or mailed to our office at 10210 N. 32nd St., Suite C2, Phoenix, AZ 85028.

On behalf of VHP, we thank you for your consideration. Should you wish to learn more about our mission, purpose, and program, please visit our website at veteransheritage.org.

Sincerely,
