Providing equity based opprotunites for all students despite school choice is key to the success and motivation of all students. We are wanting to host a graduation with more the 300 guests to celebrate a time in the life of every school aged student to recognize their accomplisments. There is more the 700,000 homeschooled students in Texas and that number was last evaluated in 2019, pre-pandemic. Post pandemic that numebr has risen and will continue to rise, the students experienced so much social, emotional and educational shifts in their lives that many families are choosing to homeschool to foster and nurture those challenges. We at FEAST want to be sure that eahc child graduation gets to experience that monumental core memory of graduation. Every child deserves to honor and celebrate graduating college especially in the face of so much adveristy in their lives.
