On Friday, February 23, 2018, San Mateo PAL will host its 20th Annual Lights and Sirens Awards & Recognition Dinner at the San Mateo County Event Center, and we would like to ask your business to consider becoming part of PAL’s largest fundraiser. This event includes over 400 guests, reception/dinner, live & silent auctions, and an award recognition of our Police Officer and Youth PAL Member of the year. The funds raised will support purposeful, preventative, and education youth programs with special attention on promoting character development and improving educational outcomes, at zero or minimal cost to our underserved, under resourced and at-risk PAL members.

Since 1997, San Mateo Police Activities League has created positive change to the lives of thousands of youth in our community! Every year, in an environment rich with care and goodwill, we provide hundreds of opportunities for kids, ages 5 –18, to participate in educational, recreational, social and athletic enrichment activities, classes and trips. Everything we do is designed to Build the Bond Between Cops & Kids, keep our community safe, and help guide our youth towards a positive path in life. PAL acts as a trusted lifeline of resources and support to its kids, and their families; offering assistance any way we can. Our focus is to serve those kids most vulnerable to outside negative influences and in most need of our assistance to stay away from drugs, gangs, violence and other troubled behaviors.
