Scarborough Love Auction is a virtual auction, concluding with a live event and auction, to raise money for two priority program areas at Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities(SCHC): Youth and Children, and Seniors. SCHC has 42 programs over 10 sites and continues to grow. Scarborough Love Auction will raise funds to support the unmet holistic health needs of residents in the Scarborough community who experience health inequities, related to many factors including race, poverty, immigration status and much more. To reach our target goal of $20,000 we need donations of high quality items and sponsor dollars. Your donation of a complimentary product/service will be acknowledged through all of our social media, email blasts, posters and other marketing vehicles employed to encourage donations. We have over 7000 followers on our media channels and over 400,000 impressions. Sponsorship carries other benefits, as reviewed in our sponsor package.

Scarborough is home to a population that is 75% first and second degree immigrants. Having services for youth to develop social and leadership skills and for seniors to keep active and break social isolation is extremely important for their health and well being and the overall community.

Last year we had over 200 people register for the virtual auction and we expect an additional 100 people and VIP guests to attend our finale live event and auction, Wine and Wellness. This dark chocolate and wine tasting event will have a sound bath and 50/50 raffle, plus wellness products from vendors, food and entertainment.  The virtual auction launches on April 18 2024. The live event is on April 25th from 6pm to 9pm.
