Dear Local Business Owner,

I’m reaching out to you today on behalf of The Special Children’s Committee (SCC) of

Edgewater Park Elks Lodge #2550. The SCC is a charitable organization that provides local children with disabilities with a place where they can get together and not feel out of place. The SCC hosts holiday parties, BBQs, and a sponsored week at summer camp.

The Annual Pig Roast is SCC's biggest fundraiser and helps raise money to send our children to Camp Moore with everything they'll need for a fun filler week, at no cost to their families. New Jersey State Elks Camp Moore is a special-needs retreat in Haskell, Passaic County and provides children an outdoor camping experience that would otherwise not be available.

The 42nd Annual Pig Roast is on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 12pm, Lodge 2550, 315 Green Street, Edgewater Park. We are requesting donations for our silent auction or supplies to help offset the cost of the Pig Roast (ie produce, rolls, services, etc.). We are expecting 300-400 guests at this event during which all businesses and sponsors will be acknowledged.

Donations are open to your imagination and any donation is appreciated. Elks 2550 and the SCC would also love to see you there, we'll have plenty of great food, refreshments, live entertainment, games, & much more.
