Description

We are pleased to announce that we will host our annual SCCS Athletics Golf Tournament again on Monday, May 6, 2024. Come to The Oaks Club at Valencia to support our Athletics Department while enjoying a relaxing and entertaining round of golf; breakfast, lunch, dinner, and refreshments included! We are excited to offer a “Hole in One” competition prize valued at over $25,000 and four other premium bonus “Hole in One” prize competitions. In addition to these competitions, participate in a raffle and silent auction, which will be live throughout the tournament day.

This year’s tournament is a classic Texas Scramble, so gather your foursome and claim your spot! As a brief refresher of Texas Scramble rules: each golfer tees off, and each subsequent shot will be taken from the group’s previous best shot. Each golfer in the group MUST contribute four drives throughout the round. Want to try for a better lie? Someone coughed during your backswing? Mulligans are included in sponsor packages AND available for purchase throughout the tournament.

This year’s tournament aims to pave the way for proactive steps in developing the atmosphere and experience of our sports programs. We hope to accomplish these projects: re-wrap the Football Trailer, beef up our campus branding, and cover our batting cage. We want to be excellent stewards of the spaces and people God has delegated to us, and improving what we already have is a crucial part of that mission!
