On Saturday July 23rd, I will join over 130 people in our 2nd Annual Benefit Scramble Golf Tournament with the goal of helping improve the health of children with the 22q deletion, a disease often requiring children to have open heart and digestive surgeries right after birth.

This year, we will also support a cause which was selected to honor the Memory of a beloved friend and surgeon who passed away, Doctor David Rose.

The goal is to help financially support the 22q families through the devastating effects of this disease and provide some relief while their child spends their early weeks in hospitals, as well as using half the proceeds to support ‘The Children Center’ (TCC)' an organization which was dear to David.

Our non-profit foundation has organized a benefit golf tournament to raise money for the children of both organizations and I am hoping that by making a pledge to the causes, your business will be helping fund research and local services to those affected and in need.

I have a personal stake in this particular event. A friend has a 7 year old boy suffering from the 22q disease. Not only do I want to help them, but also the many others diagnosed with 22q. This is a disease that affects multiple organs but is treatable with early surgeries and rehabilitation.

My goal is to raise at least $25,000 with this golf tournament. Please help me and the other already committed sponsors, reach that goal with your sponsorship. Your donation is of course tax deductible.

As a thank you for your support, the SCFFL Foundation will add your logo on the tournament website and in media publications. We will also mention your business at the already generously sponsored banquet following the tournament.

There will be over 130 golfers and many more people volunteering for the tournament which will allow for great positive exposure of your generosity.

The deadline to get the sponsor pledges in is by mid June. Following the event, I will send out a brief recap of the SCFFL Foundation Golf Tournament to all the sponsors.
