The “SCHC Food Fight” will be held June 8th, 2020 to June 22nd 20th, 2020 throughout Scarborough. Teams in our community will conduct food drives and/or collect donations to help stock the Food Bank shelves with fresh fruit & vegetables and needed supplies. Hunger doesn’t take a summer vacation but donations typically do. That is why we need your support.
The name ‘Food Fight’, was chosen to remind us of the everyday struggle that residents in the community face because of hardships related to food insecurity. Through your donation of food or funds to the more vulnerable, you will be embarking on an adventure of community food sustainability, while respecting and upholding the values of sustainable living.
