The Gala and auction benefit the LGBT Chamber of Commerce Foundation Scholarship Fund. Since 2011, the LGBT Chamber of Commerce Foundation has awarded more than $120,000 in scholarship grants to deserving LGBTQ and ally students across Texas.

The Scholarship Fund is just one way the Foundation works to achieve it mission to support young adults and nurture the development of leaders in the LGBT community. In addition to providing scholarships for general studies, the LGBT Chamber of Commerce Foundation oﬀers several specialized scholarships. They are:

• Rob Ruhlin Law Scholarship

• Film & Television Scholarship

• Veronica Marcum Nursing Scholarship

• STEM Scholarship

The Chamber Foundation also administers the Michael Doughman Memorial Scholarship and the United Court of the Lone Star State Scholarship.
