Description

Hello from Sea Center Texas,

This is the time of year when Sea Center Texas prepares for our Annual Volunteer Banquet to honor our volunteers for their service to the community. Please join us in recognizing our volunteers by donating a door prize to be distributed at our banquet on Monday, March 4th, 2024. Your donation will be recognized in the banquet program and qualifies as a tax-deductible contribution through the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation, a non-profit (501c-3) organization.

Sea Center Texas is a marine aquarium, fish hatchery, and education center operated by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Admission is free. We average over 55,000 visitors annually and our education program and hatchery tours touch reach 25,000 youth each year. In addition to visitor center activities, the facility produces about 15 million redfish and spotted seatrout fingerlings to stock in Texas bays each year. Volunteers conduct tours, youth fishing events, educational programs, and assist with maintenance projects and special events. The volunteer program consists of almost 200 individuals who donate over 13,000 hours of service each year.

Thank you for considering our request.
