For almost 40 years, Opera Atelier has dazzled and inspired audiences from Toronto and around the world with our superb productions of Baroque opera and ballet.

Despite the global pandemic, Opera Atelier responded to COVID-19 with creative and innovative solutions to keep Canada's singers, dancers, and instrumentalists employed. We are proud that Opera Atelier to return to the live stage with Purcell’s Dido & Aeneas and Handel’s The Resurrection this Spring. 

As we prepare for our upcoming season, Opera Atelier remains committed to producing the most beautiful theatre imaginable coupled with exceptional community engagement.

In support of these goals, we are delighted to announce our Season Closing Celebration & Fundraiser, held this year on May 11, 2023, at St. Lawrence Hall. This year, in addition to a cocktail reception, the event will include a special performance by the Artists of Opera Atelier and hosted by Marshall Pynkoski. 

Opera Atelier’s Season Closing Celebration & Fundraiser will include an online auction accompanying this event will play an important role in this endeavor. Contributions of items and services to this year’s auction will help us to continue to produce the beautiful opera and ballet productions for which Opera Atelier is internationally acclaimed.
