Description

My name is Samantha Smith, and I am the Fund Development Officer at Colette’s Children’s Home (CCH), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to Giving Hope and Healing Homelessness. I’m excited to personally invite you to support our Seeds of Change Gala—a special evening celebrating 27 years of providing housing and supportive services to over 6,100 homeless women and children. The event will be held on October 16, 2025, at the Grand Theater in Anaheim, and promises to be an unforgettable evening filled with inspiration, community, and change.

We are kindly requesting a donation for our fundraiser gala. Your generous support will directly benefit the women and children we serve—families who are working to rebuild their lives and create a brighter future. Last year alone, CCH received over 3,000 requests for housing and supportive services. With 21 shelter and housing sites, we have the capacity to serve over 400 homeless single women, mothers with children, and low-income individuals at any given time.

Your donation is tax-deductible, and a donation form is enclosed for your convenience. This is a wonderful opportunity to spotlight your brand or product to an audience of over 400 business and community leaders, while being acknowledged for your generosity in our program booklet.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me at ssmith@healinghomelessness.org. Together, we can break the cycle of homelessness—one family at a time.

Be the reason a child finds safety. Be the change that gives a mother hope.
