Our Cultural Festival & Ondo at the Southeast Japanese School & Community Center on June 8-9, 2024 marks our most anticipated annual gathering, bringing together all supporting groups for a joyous celebration of culture and unity.

Attendees look forward to reuniting with friends, indulging in traditional foods and fun game booths, live demonstrations by our Judo and Kendo groups, and lively entertainment by our taiko drummers, hula, ukulele, and Japanese student groups as well as hands-on workshops, and displays by our ikebana group. Each evening ends with our Japanese ondo dancing, bringing adults and young children together to celebrate and honor ancestors through Japanese music and dance.

Notably, our raffle and silent auction take center stage, serving as vital fundraisers to sustain our center and support the array of events offered throughout the year.
