Senior [citizen] Idol is the Annual Serving Seniors Talent Showcase. Seniors are encouraged to show their talent in music, comedy, poetry/writing, or other personalized talents. The acts perform one after another, with an intermission, and placements are chosen by a round of judges, who are also senior members. The afternoon is spent with laughs, snacks, and a social hour.

Serving Seniors is seeking donations to use as first, second, and third place prizes, honorable mentions, and opportunity drawing prizes. The gifts and prizes will be awarded to Serving Seniors members who participate in and attend Senior Idol.

We expect between 15-25 talented performances and about 50 audience members. The event takes place the afternoon of Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019. The event is free for performers and senior client audience members. As part of our commitment to provide free services for our clients, Serving Seniors hosts Senior Idol as a free social event.
