Description
For the last 15 years, King High School in Riverside, Ca has held a Seniors vs Staff Softball game as the last senior sporting event of the year. The event draws approximately 1000 visitors.
At the game we sell raffle tickets for many prizes donated by businesses in the community. The tckets cost $1.00 and we usually sell 5000+ tickets.
All of the tickets sales (100 percent) goes to the American Cancer Society.
The club also fund raises during the year to give away four $1000 scholarships to four seniors.
Over 15 years, we have donated over $83,000 to ACS and given over $30,000 in scholarships.
